Good point chip

Just to give an example, When Florida passed the paper ballet legislation for voting, it was suppose to work for the disabled using the auto mark system by 2012 and already the state is saying 2016 now. Believe me folks, we will be the last on the totem pole and with the economy, who knows.

Well, regardless of what the state of the economy will turn out to be, I
only meant to suggest that we should ask about the funding of 39
signals. is it available now, maybe if we get stimulus money, we could
start budgeting for it now and it would be done in 5 years? I only
wanted to ask StarMetro what they had in mind, or if they had
investigated funding at all. I wouldn't want to find out that this
compromise that everyone is hanging their hat on, turns out not to be
fundable for 5 years.

judging from the way it was described, this sounded like Sam having an
idea and calling William up with it; it doesn't sound like one where he
took the time to confirm 39 signals could be done, so it's worth asking.
it's only a question after all.

Oh gloom & doom

There is all kinds of reports on NPR about the recession or
what ever you
call the thing is over and things will start getting better.
That is except
for the people going back to work. This is always the last to
recover after
a downturn.
You must be getting your news reports from Fox News.

I was referring to the stimulus money that is going around.

Just my thoughts.
