Bruce, You'll always get better support buying locally, but if that doesn't work out for you, here's the internet location that sells the Sansa players with rockbox installed: http://www.accessibleelectronics.com/ ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) ________________________________ From: tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bruce Weaver Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2010 12:32 PM To: tabi@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tabi] Re: (No Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2010 12:29:28 -0400 Thanks Chip, I will look for that website. ________________________________ From: tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tabi-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chip Orange Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2010 12:30 PM To: tabi@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tabi] Re: (No Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2010 12:29:28 -0400 Well, a netbook can be an mp3 player for you (it runs winamp or windows media player or whatever you need), and that's what many netbooks run, so why not just buy yourself a netbook and make it do for the mp3 player? Otherwise, the Sansa players with the free Rockbox software to make them accessible are said to be the cheapest mp3 players available, but I'd guess they're in the $150 range. There's a blind guy who sells them on the net as a business, with Rockbox preloaded, I believe, but don't have his web site handy.
