unfortunately Window-eyes won't be around much longer since it was
purchased by the same company that now owns jaws. Things just keep getting
worse for accessability.

Tinetta,
I'll mention that in addition to NVDA, if your employer owns MS Office, then
you're entitled to a free version of Window-Eyes, and this is Windows-10
ready , so if upgrading JAWS isn't a possibility, and Windows 10 is
important, then you have those two free routes to explore. Neither comes
with a high quality speech synthesizer, but I believe you can buy something
like Eloquence for around $50, and something better than Eloquence for a
little bit more.
If you have to use MS Office programs though, I've been told Window-Eyes is
probably the better choice, but you can always ask around yourself if you
decide to go for the free screen reader option.

Too bad they can't upgrade your version of JAWS.

I use JAWS 16 at work and it isn't compatible with Windows 10. The
solutions company we use are currently removing Windows 10 from mycomputer
and reinstalling Windows 7. It's caused a lot of headaches. :)!Behalf

JAWS works fine with Windows 10. JAWS 17 works well, form what I hear.
NVDA, the screen reader I use, works great with it.

This is an offer from Microsoft and requires installation of Windowsinterface, or by sending an email to the address

Windows 10 is not wholly compatible with JAWS. More details for how
this offer applies are available at the web dsite mentioned.
