The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Wireless
Technologies (Wireless RERC) invites people with all types of abilities to
take its ongoing Survey of User Needs for wireless technology. This is
the cornerstone project of their consumer research program, the
results from which are used to educate the wireless industry, government and
consumers about the needs and wants of consumers with disabilities. Their
ultimate goal is to promote use and usability of this critical technology
for promoting the independence and healthy lifestyles of everyone.

In 2001, the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation
Research of the U.S. Department of Education funded the Wireless RERC
