5th Annual Ability 1st Walk Run Roll-a-thon to be held on March 26, 2011 at
Myers Park
The Ability 1st WALK RUN ROLL supports the mission of the organization:
offering persons with disabilities the opportunity to achieve, maintain and
strengthen their level of independence. Your participation will help raise
awareness as well as much needed dollars for the programs and services
Ability 1st provides to the community. People with and without a disability
are encouraged to come out and support this event.
PARTICIPATION & REGISTRATION
THERE ARE Two WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
All participants can enjoy food, door prizes, and music provided by Black
Sheep.
5K RUN
Join us for the 5K run. Race starts at 10:00 a.m.
2 Mile walk/Roll
Organize teams of 2-4 persons. Wheel- chairs provided to each group. Each
participant must complete the registration form.
How TO ORGANIzE YOUR TEAM
Each team of 2-4 persons will be provided a wheelchair for participation in
the Accessibility Roll experience. Team(s) comprised of 2-4 rollers/walkers
per team. Each team will share a wheelchair and complete the 2 mile fixed
one or more of your Team members is a wheelchair user your team will still
receive a wheelchair for other members participating in the Accessibility
Roll experience.
