Advocacy Specialist
Disability Rights Florida has an opening in our Intake unit for an Advocacy
Specialist in our Tallahassee office.
The Advocacy Specialist is responsible for initial contact and in-depth
telephone interviews with callers seeking information or requesting our
services. Outstanding communication skills and sensitivity to disability
issues is required. Position demands efficient use of phone system
technology and excellent computer skills. The ideal candidate would possess
a bachelor's degree and have significant experience in client assistance,
disability services or information and referral. Bilingual English/Spanish
preferred but not required.
