Remember not all money comes out of the same pot. The vast amount of money Star Metro gets is Federal money. Some f the money. like grants can be only spent on spacific allocations.

Also, it seems incredible to me that StarMetro is proposing to pay
$400000 for a new bus washing machine, at a time when as you say, so
many things are being cut back.

This is wonderful news but it amazes me that the city can do
this but they can't provide night service for the elderly and
disabled and as always everthing centers around FSU and down
town.  What does it take to get city officials to understand
Tallahassee has citizans that pay property taxes unlike
college students that might like to have service also.
