I don't think so. We went to a lot of trouble to make it only single instance.
Of course, you should be able to process other documents while recording into
one.

This is a time when I need more than one instance of SR to use, e.g.
one to record a cassette, another to process one. Are there potential plans to
allow this as an optional ability?
