Here is what that dialog box looks like when you virtualize it with JAWS.
Clip Indicator Settings
Use audible clip indicator checked
Clip threshold (dB): 0
Indicator level (dB): -15
Brightness 30%
Dull Bright
Restore Defaults OK Cancel
The clip indicator is checked by default. I tried adjusting the other two
settings but without success.

Go to options, advanced; tab around to clip indicator settings. First check
box in settings says use audible clip indicator. I hope it works for you.
