It used to be milliseconds; we changed it. The other thing that isn't clear is that you can enter values in time format. So, you could say 1:0 for one minute, or just 1; for the same result. No matter how you enter the value, it will always show as the number of seconds since I suspect most people will be dealing with small pieces of material.
