The ship has been reconnected to the SSInNet* but with a fabricated Double
Blind firewall unit between them, thus protecting the ship from the Net and the
Net from the ship....

-----Previously on USS Starlet-----
Bianca, and the Starlet, has received a passing although begrudging grade from
Lt Commander Shen who has also indicated that in such an eventuality his orders
included becoming the Starlet's JAFO.? Bianca has decided to assign him to Helm
for the time being.

Academy Professor Shen has been going thru the ship, reviewing all aspects of
the Starlet's condition and crew.? The ship is still isolated from the SSInNet,
Starfleet Subspace Information Network, at Bianca's orders and continued
insistence while repairs are completing.? She has ordered the construction of a
standalone computer interface with "double blind" firewalls (protecting
outgoing and incoming traffic).
((Let's have a 6 hour lapse since last week in order to move things along))

An hour after the ship has been secured, again, Professor Shen is squeezing his
shuttle into the mainbay.? The question is, why is he here?

Tuesday has gone amok,?so the ship is-a-*ucked....

As far as can be determined, all of the bugs have been found and secured or
destroyed.? Time to restore the artificial gravity, debrief the situation?and
determine options.

A?small volume of Founder "goo" has been flushed out the ship, as well as helm
control restored, so the ship is no longer locked on a "collision" course.

In an bizarre twist that forcibly reminds the crew that they are in the middle
of a?War, it turns out that the crewman that was "queen host" turned out in
fact to be a Founder!?? Once revealed it gelled and fled into the air recycling
vents.? Of interest is that there is no sign of the actual queen organism
itself....

Engineering and the cloaking device still need to be secured.? Bia is
determined to be as sure as possible of discovering any tampering before
allowing any changes to the ship's heading, speed, etc.
Lt Jax is leading the search efforts for the assumed Queen Host.

Bianca ordered the artificial gravity shut?down shipwide to better isolate the
loose parasite "bugs" as they apparently are ill-equipped to stick to surfaces
like true insects.
After an attack in Bianca's Ready Room(Deck 0) by a yeoman with several small
insect-like creatures about the size of large peach-pits.? It was only due to
the skipper's eidetic memory that she was able to understand the nature of the
setup before it was sprung.
With the ship ordered under a Level 1 Bio-Contagion and communications
lockdown?including severing the ship's link with the SSINet (Starfleet Subspace
Information Network), she leads a security team to the Trill Envoy's room(Deck
4)?to secure his safety.
NOTE - Players are best served with a knowledge of the parasites from
TNG:"Contagion"(plus selected "After-DS9" books), HOWEVER the events of that
episode has been sealed into Captains-Eyes Only(CapEO) files which as CO of the
ship Bia had recently read.? Thus the *characters* should have NO knowledge of
them with the possible exceptions being Chief Bourne who was attached to
SFCommand at the time, and the Flag Ensign who as an Admiral's Staff Aide and
ship's SILO can later call up details on them.
