Morning All.
Remarkably quickly, the skim of paint that Andy S put on yesterday has dried.
This means we can move onto the next job.
This is scraping and sanding the paint of the areas where the foot box wear
plate must but glued on the floor of the hull and under the pin holes so we can
glue on the pin receivers as in the BB.
I marked out all the areas to denude of paint this morning and scraped clean
one receiver site.
This is an edged paint scraper job. I used a metal shelf bracket to improvise
today and it worked well.
John, Andy S,Barbara,Peter,Pam,Toby,Sharon,Janet,Julia,Margo,Wendy have all put
their names forward. If they or anyone else can work in the day time, get in
touch with each other, arrange a group and go down. You can pick up a key from
my office if there are no committee members in the group. For those that can’t
do daytime, I suspect their will still be things to do this evening.
The Oars are largely complete so many thanks to John. Only an par plate left to
attach.
Get involved, get in contact with each other, put out any arrangements to the
whole club to get as much help as possible. Clayton
