Happy New Year
Hope you all had a good time over the Festive Season .
Thanks to Sylvia and Jo for sorting out the Christmas Orders for Club Kit .
That was much appreciated .
Here we are ,just a month away from our Book Sale to be held in the
garage on Market St on Saturday 4th February to boost club funds.
I am looking for paperbacks or hardbacks that you have finished with .
Also any unwanted Christmas Gifts .
I can collect these anytime if you would like them out of your house or let me
know
if you would prefer to drop them off at the garage .
There will be NO rowing on February 4th .
The plan is to run the event from 11am till 2pm.
Setting up on the Friday night at 7pm.
We need help to assist with setting up for an hour on the Friday
and members to sell books and merchandise on the 4th .
If enough people come forward we could do this in one hour shifts .
Please let me know of your availability as soon as possible.
While the Book Sale is going on Clayton would like oar making to be happening
at the back of the garage.
A good opportunity to get everyone involved , the work done AND demonstrate
our remarkable skills !!!
Again if we have sufficient volunteers this could be done in one hour shifts .
Please let Clayton know if you are able to help with this .
Hope as many members as possible will come along to help .
Newer members will be made most welcome and we would
GREATLY appreciate your assistance .
