Rowing the Waves: Community Development and Coastal rowing in Scotland

Researchers Prof Nina Laurie and Jen Remnant are launching a research
project in association with Scottish Coastal Rowing;

‘Rowing the Waves: Community Development and Coastal rowing in Scotland’.

Scottish Coastal Rowers are invited to join them, 7-10pm, 24th of March at
the Byre Theatre in St Andrews. Musical entertainment will be provided, and
some nibbles. There is a cash bar.
The aim of the project is to explore all aspects of Scottish Coastal
Rowing, including its successes, popularity and history. The purpose of the
launch is to introduce and explain how we plan to conduct the research,
meet and engage with people who are involved in skiff building and rowing
in Scotland and answer questions about the project – it should also be a
fun evening to make connections and talk rowing!
To RSVP, or ask a question, please email jkr6@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
