Museum of Glass
Today's site, from the Tacoma, Washington's Museum of Glass, offers a glittering
sample of items from their spectacular collections. Gentle Subscribers will
discover some of the outstanding art in the museum's permanent and current
exhibitions.

expressly to the medium of glass. The focus of the Collection is to showcase
exemplary works of art created during the 20th and 21st centuries by artists

This modest-sized website features dramatic selections from the museum's outdoor
art, under the Exhibitions and Collections heading. Transcending the traditional
concepts of glass art, the dazzling sculptures of artist Martin Blank's "Fluent
Steps" and the groundbreaking "Bridge of Glass" from Dale Chihuly, are
showcased as
part of the museum's permanent outdoor collection. Additional sections spotlight
current and past exhibits, with details about the works, the artists who created
them, highlighted by striking images.
