website offers an overview of several aspects of Maya culture. Gentle
Members may enjoy the informative summary of this ancient society.

The site provides sections dealing with the geographical location of the
Maya, a lucid explanation of their mathematics, with accompanying graphics,
along with articles on the Maya calendar and writing system. The more
detailed Astronomy section includes material on the Maya's views of Venus,
the sun and moon, the ecliptic and the Milky Way as well as the impact
