Site of the Day for Tuesday, June 25, 2002

         PassengerRights.com

Travelling can be an arduous experience, even when things go smoothly. When
they don't, the List has just the site for its gentle members.

"Tired of getting taken to the cleaners by the car rental agencies?
Received terrible service at a hotel? Flight delays left you stranded?
Cruise line food make you sick? Tired of poor customer service in general?
Then you've come to the right place - you don't have to take it any more!
Explore this site, learn the secrets and empower yourself! . . . Are you a
victimized traveler? Well, here's an easy and free way to file complaints
without making dozens of phone calls, spending countless hours researching
your rights or finding out the proper process for complaining when you've
been mistreated. " - from the website

The online form can be used to send an official complaint to a specific
airline, car rental agency, hotel, cruise line or tour company. Also
included at the site is a form to acknowledge superior service, along with
helpful "Know Your Rights" information. Although there is a "Horror
Stories" link, the List does not recommend it; this section is somewhat
dated and much too alarming.
