Today's site features webcams from around the world. Gentle Subscribers who
don't get out enough and seeking a little "live action" may find a few
interesting spots to park their browsers.
From New York to Moscow, webcams circle the globe. Webcams available from
major cities are conveniently located at the top of the site, while a
listing of city squares is located in the left sidebar. Also grouped by
browsable subject, are webcams focused on specific themes, such as space
and science cams, traffic, weather and animal cams. One of the best
features of the EarthCam site is its geographical search function,
accessible from the Map icon. This allows visitors to find webcams set up
in a specific time zone worldwide. As is the case with any streaming data,
patience is required from low bandwidth users. Java is required for most of
the webcams.
