creatures sparkle in the darkness of a summer night may savor this
enjoyable presentation.

"Welcome to the Firefly Files! . . . Dedicated to the sparks of
bioluminescent light that inspire awe and wonder around the world. . . This
site contains information about Firefly (or Lightning Bug) biology. You
will find answers to your questions about this amazing bioluminescent
insect, references for further study, and activities for both kids and
adults." - from the website

This easygoing site presents the facts on the classification, habit and
range, behavior and bioluminescence of fireflies. A brief section offers
suggestions for making a firefly friendly environment while the resource
