Today's site, a creation of the talented Gen Ip, presents her annual
celebration of cinema, in a whirlwind kaleidoscope of 2011 movies. Gentle
Subscribers, even those who rarely visit a movie theater themselves, will
find a spellbinding montage of the year's films, set to an evocative
musical score.

amazing capacity to transport us through the boundaries of space, time, and

Ms. Ip's glittering tour de force compresses more than two hundred films in
