The List offers its gentle members a website loosely based on the
invaluable information in the Canadian car guide "Lemon-Aid" by former
Member of Parliament and crusading consumer advocate Phil Edmonston, who
has been battling car manufacturers for almost 30 years.
Although the site does not attempt to replace Edmonston's thorough new and
used car buying guides (which are available in most libraries in Canada),
it nevertheless contains valuable consumer information. Of particular
interest are the "Updates", especially the one for April, 2002. Also
included at the site are "Best and Worst Buys", "Secret Warranties" and
helpful strategies for dealing with car manufacturers in the "Art of
Complaining".
