I haven't tried the heather. I will be interested to see what you end up
thinking of it.
I don't use a lot of amber at the moment but I love it so will be using it
more. When I blend with it I tend to have a higher percentage in the blend
than the more robust oils if I really want it to shine through.

No I got cosmetic grade, and to be honest, I really didn't know what I was
wanting - I'm really quite chuffed and pleased.
You left out Heather - do you have this one? That is a lot of Amber - guess
you use it a lot. Is it stronger in a blend?

I think it will be solid red
WFO were easy with a good range. I still want to get some from some other
companies at some stage.
Amber - even true amber tends to be subtle. I got a 8oz bottle with my last
order.
Fern - this is very green and very useful in blends
Banana - keep meaning to get a sample
Guava - I found it fairly light
Pineapple - must get this one!
Strawberry - love it.
Did you get the premium grade?

Lovely! I like the sound of the Red Musk Accord - what colour will the soap
be?
I've been meaning to ask Ross. What made you decide on the Wellington
Fragrance people as the company to get your fragrances from? I have seen
many fragrant co names bandied about on The Dish, but never them, so what
made you decide?
I bought my nearly first ever fragrant oils from Wellington Fragranco Co and
they arrived today. I've only purchased fo once before and it was for a
contract for a client - coconut oil. It was lovely and soaped great - very
long lasting. That was 4 years ago and I still have it! Anyway the oils I
chose are very basic fruity ones with a Heather, Fern and Amber thrown in
for good measure.
Funny, I never thought I'd be waxing lyrical over fragrant oils!! I got
ones that might help me with my feijoa fragrance, but in hind sight, I think
the aroma chemicals coming from Thailand will help more. Anyway, this is
what I got and what I thought.
Amber - lovely but not nearly as strong as I expected.
Heather - subtle but nice.
Fern - very subtle but like.
Banana - as you would expect - but I like it.
Guava - expected it to be stronger, but it is true.
Pineapple - this is the pick of them all, absolutely just like freshly
sliced pineapple - to die for.
Strawberry - again beautiful, strong, rich and sweet.
I have to say, the fragrant oils surprised me. They far surpass anything I
have seen or smelt before. The scents seem deeper and more complex then
your usual sniff of fragrant oils. The usual synthetic/chemical smell is
not so obvious - IMO, and the bottles are beautiful (I do like bottles).
I feel the start of a whole shelf of beautiful coloured, scented little
vials of fragrant oils. My world is a changing!!
