I too have never done a soapswap before and just thought you would send the
amount of bars of soap as people and every1 would get 1 of each person's
soap...so if we have 5 people then we send 5 soaps and they could all be the
same as they would go to different people, actually u would only have to
send 4 soaps if you had 5 people cos u don't want your own back..anyway so
tell me what the kaupapa ie philosophy, reason for actually doing the
soapswap, sorry to ask the dumbest question!because the answer to this
question affects my opinion on how many soaps we should swap! thanks

I've never done a soap swap before. I assumed that it was one bar of soap
for each participant and was a little puzzled by the 3 that was being talked
about. It wasn't until Gina spelled it out that I clicked and realised that
(after looking at my stock piles of soap) I'd have to do another 2 batches
to get some decent soaps (not happy with some of the colours).
I think 18 is a bit too much. I'm quite happy to do 2, ie for 6 people x 2
batches of soap = 12 soaps - sort of as an in between measure.
I'll go along with whatever the majority decide.
