We need to know what sort of veg oil and exactly how much lye in grams then
I can run it through a calculator.

Pauline you really need to master a calculator as different oils require
different amounts of lye.  You will run into trouble if you just use that
recipe and chop and change your oils around.

What we do is a form of science.

Do you know where this recipe came from out of interest?
