Hi Jenny & all others that commented on my soap
Thanks for your nice comments. When the colour was in the jug it was very
dark, I put a bit then another bit then thought oh well I've made the colour
now so I tipped it all in and then thought oops that's probably too much,
but I wanted purple and that's what I got apart from some spots but I can
pretend that was the plan!
I love colour so I wanted something with colour, my other ones have been so
so. Except the M&P soap I did was dark green, very lovely colour but
possibly a bit dark as when you wash your hands there was green everywhere.
The other one I did with the M&P was a mauve which is very pretty, haven't
used yet but that colour probably won't run because it was a lightish
purple.
Jenny, I also haven't made soap for a while.
You'll pick up google groups easy enough, see you there.
Must catch up for lunch one day soon, Spring sounds good.

Hi Jan
Your soap and the mould on Facebook look great. The purple is good. I
think I've been too timid with the dye - I haven't actually got a colour yet
only pale tinges and the dotty lavender one. I haven't been making any soap
lately but am looking forward to soapmaking again once I get my group soap
posted off.

Alison and I have come up with a solution for this email list group and have
created a new email list with Google for the issues of privacy recently
discussed and other technical problems like bounced emails.
Here is the group's description:
A private discussion group for people who make soap and other body care
products. A place where we can
share our recipes, see your own private page with photos, swap soap stories.
This group will not appear in searches or
the Google directory.

So heres whats going to happen:
We will automatically join you to this group unless you request not to be
included. However the other email list group will be dissolved.
You can choose to receive the emails one at a time as we already do or you
can choose a daily or weekly digest format.
You will receive a email telling you that you have been joined. If you
already have a google account it will take you straight to the group and if
you do not you will be required to put in some basic information and create
a password and join. You do not need to have a gmail account.
Please let us know if you have any problems you need help with.
