Not an expert, I'd say but I would say my priorities and exposures may be
different and therefore I have taken a different path in scent than others.
I like depth, complexity and inspiration in scent (but that extends to
music, taste, texture and colour too)

You really need to take a course on scents Ross, you're clearly an expert in
the area.

Feijoa would be fabulous but should be easy enough to create a feijoa accord

banana and perhaps lemon and just playing with the proportions. The green
pineapple and pine would be essential

Thank you Ross for co-ordinating and guiding us all. It was fun.

I learnt:

*   My label needs revamping.

* Perhaps a higher % of coconut oil will contribute to even more bubbles
-experimentation required.

* I need to rethink my opinion of fragrant oils.

* Titanium dioxide can create fabulous effects.

All in all the soap swap rekindled a desire to experiment more.

I really wish I could capture the scent of feijoas - it is just adorable.
Unfortunately when soaped you wouldn't know the fruit was even there. Shame.

Thank you all.

Subject: [soapcraft] Closing Soap Swap

Hi all

The soap swap is now officially closed.

Thank you all for participating. It was fantastic to see everyone's
techniques and concepts. We had a really diverse range of soap/ers

I think we have all learned something during this process which was the aim
of the swap. I learned:

. My boxes don't travel well! (Have started posting in boxes)

. About potassium lactate

. Natural colours can be fabulous

Please continue to post any overflowing comments if you need to.

Let's all start thinking about if we would like to do another swap/challenge
in the nearish future and when you would like to do that. I am keen to do a
themed fragrance blend challenge.

Happy soaping
