NEW! We've done lots of work and produced WebbIE 3, the latest web browser for
blind and visually-impaired users. It's a great improvement on previous
versions: try it now!
WebbIE is available only for Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer
6. Download and run the file below to start installation. It should work with
Windows '98/Me/2000/XP.

What's new in WebbIE 3
Here are some of the new features in WebbIE 3:
Comes with Accessible RSS and Accessible Podcatcher and Directory, letting you
get news and radio programs quickly and easily without having to navigate big
  cumbersome web pages.
Now handles pages with frames and JavaScript better, so more pages than ever
before will be accessible and work for you.
Cleaner, simpler user interface: less confusing to use and better working so
you can do useful things faster.
For visually-impaired users, the ability to zoom web pages and to set font
sizes, colours and zoom for every web page displayed in Internet Explorer -
make browsing on your machine suit you, not web designers!
Better control over downloading images in Internet Explorer, letting you speed
up your browsing if you don't use images.

Older versions of WebbIE
Some people may have older machines or prefer an older WebbIE version, so here
you go: we do recommend you upgrade to version three, though.

Accessible RSS
Accessible RSS now has its own web page.
Accessible BBC Radio
Many people use the BBC website to listen to the radio and to programmes they've
missed. These two applications let you listen to the live broadcasts and any
programme available on the Listen Again service (but only for Radio 4!)
Both these applications allow you to access BBC Radio content and require you to
already installed RealPlayer from Real. The copyright of the BBC recordings is
unchanged: you are simply accessing them through a more accessible presentation
of their radio player.
  Accessible Listen Again 1.0
Allows you to access whatever BBC Radio 4 programmes are available at the
  press of a key.
  Accessible Radio 1.0
Allows you to select any of over forty BBC radio stations currently
broadcasting around the country and listen to them live. Includes regional and
  non-English stations.
