Re: From Phuc

Hello Dang,

thanks a lot for your help and enthusiasm.
As soon as I have unicode support working in libbraille I will add the vietnamese table and inform you so that we can make some tests (I expect that to be done by the end of january or the middle of february).

I used to have support for the MB408 braille display in libbraille, but unfortunately my MB408 was broken some time ago, so I could not improve it.
If you can do some tests, I can update the driver and send it to you at the same time I will send you libbraille with vietnamese braille support.

Best regards

Hello Mr. Sébastien Sablé,
I am very happy to know that you are looking for information about Asean Braille character sets in order to add character sets support into LibBraille. . For Vietnamese Braille character system, it is very similar to Franch except characters with marks. You can have alook at:
http://www.bungsang.org/
on the link "The Vietnamese Braille Code" for an overview. I will send you the Vietnamese Braille code table compared with Vietnamese Unicode characters on Monday so you can add it into LibBraille. We are very happy to test LibBraille!!!
Currently, our center has 7 Braille displays "MB408" of Cavazzat company, Italy. Is that model of Braille display supported by LibBraille? Once, thank you very much for your developing such assistive products.
Regards,
Phuc
Ps: you can go to the website:
