pbbuttonsd isn't really something i need to recompile. (the problem i'm
having with it is probably not going away with the newer version anyway...)
but the mol package in slackintosh 11.0 does not seem to come with mol-img,
and since i don't fancy wiping out a partition to install OS X, i kinda
need it... (AFAICT, at least.)
slackintosh 11.0 was released just a short bit after mol-0.9.7.2,
there was an updated package but it didn't managed to slip into
repository/cd/dvd :-P so you'll have to stick with the prerelease
version (or build your own, as you're doing).
If you need to build an image disk, mol-img isn't strictly necessary:
you can toy around with dd and /dev/zero to reach desired results ;-)
pearpc offers a nice tutorial and some ready-to-go disk images:
http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/idesetup.html

and about pbbuttonsd: IIRC it needs 2.6 kernel headers.
