hi!
if you run a nvidia-based powerbook try to use "xorgconfig" it's
pretty easy and straightforward.
if you have an ati in it, it's even easier: just use one of the sample
xorg.conf files under /etc/X11/, maybe you should manually tweak them
for your monitor (lcd).
otherwise just stick to the kubuntu ones, if it complains about the
fonts comment the lines about them (they're at the begininng of the
file)
if you search the mailing list there're already some threads about this.
