run-parts should be fixed (I rewrote the script myself), which version
of bin are you using?
(maybe the newer script was left out from latest package)

the logs that therm_adt746x would raise the temperatures limits of about 5
degrees.

I think you could adjust this behavior toying around with /proc and /sys
