[slackintosh-users] How can I mount UFS?

Hi all,
I re-installed MacOSX on a UFS partition, just to try, thinking it would
be more accessible from Slackintosh than HFS+. I can't mount it.
root@azathot:~# mount -t ufs /dev/hda8 /mnt/macosx/
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ufs'
Reading man mount UFS seems supported. What can I do (other than reinstall)?
Which is the best way to share data between Slackintosh and MacOSX?
I tried HFS+ but I was able to mount only as root user. Maybe it was a
user ID problem.
