Eastern Kent RI-Eastern Plymouth MA-Hartford CT-Northern Bristol MA- Northwest Providence RI-Southeast Providence RI-Tolland CT- Western Kent RI-Western Plymouth MA-Windham CT- 320 PM EDT Mon Apr 7 2003 The winter storm warning from Northern Connecticut across Rhode Island into southeast Massachusetts has been changed to a winter weather advisory through tonight It now appears that snowfall totals will be somewhat lower than earlier thought, as the heaviest snow affects the south coast. Total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected from Hartford to Providence and Plymouth by the time the snow tapers off late tonight. The highest totals will be found along and south of route 6 from Hartford to Providence, and along route 44 from Providence to Plymouth. The heaviest snow is expected to fall between 5 PM and midnight. Evening commuters should be prepared for slippery roads and allow extra travel time.
