[SKYWARN RI] Winter Storm Message(1)

Hello all...

...Plowable snowfall expected tomorrow for much of Southern Newengland.  Snow 
should start early tomorrow morning and last much of the day.  This will be a 
fast moving storm, but will come down heavy for periods of time.  The 
snowfall expected so far is 2-6inches of snow, with higher amounts in the 
greater Providence area towards Plymouth.  I will be monitoring this 
situation.  Another email will be sent out tomorrow morning to update the 
threat.

...Below is the National Weather Services Hazardous Weather Outlook Text that 
was issued this afternoon:

A SNOWSTORM IS LIKELY THURSDAY TO BRING WIDESPREAD 2 TO 6 INCHAMOUNTS. THERE 
IS A 40 PERCENT CHANCE OF 7 TO 8 INCH AMOUNTS FROMFROM PROVIDENCE TO 
PLYMOUTH...NEW BEDFORD AND HYANNIS... NOT QUITE A HIGH ENOUGH PROBABILITY TO 
WARRANT A WATCH OR MARGINAL WARNING BUT FURTHER CONSIDERATION FOR AN UPSHIFT 
MAY BE NEEDED TONIGHT OR THURSDAY WARNING.

THE EVENT WILL BE A QUICK HITTER BUT IT WILL SNOW HARD AND CAUSETRAVEL 
DIFFICULTIES BETWEEN ROUGHLY 11 AM AND 5 PM.

A GALE WARNING MAY BE NEEDED FOR THE COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY EVENING.

GALE FORCE WINDS AND A BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILL ARE POSSIBLE LATESUNDAY INTO 
EARLY MONDAY... OTHERWISE A PERIOD OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND WITH MORE 
STORMINESS POSSIBLE THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS...HOWEVER 
ACTIVATION MAY BE REQUIRED TOMORROW.
