Fantastiskt, nu har de börjat uppfinna svenskar som avsändare när de skickar den här sortens brev till svenskar. Men de har inte lyckats läsa namnet de ville använda rätt... en pinsam bransch präglas av pinsamma misstag... suuuuck...
Man undrar också hur många de kan ha på sina utskickslistor som de verkligen tror aldrig har fått något slags "nigeriabrev" förr. Finns det några kvar över huvud taget? Kul tanke också att "Björn" skulle maila en svensk på måfå, men på engelska. Inte mycket insikt i svenska Internetvanor där, inte...

I am Björn Adelsrärd, Swedish and an international contractor/consultant on petroleum issues. I have done several deals in and outside Sweden. I just completed a multi million dollar job in West Africa with the African Development Agency (ADA). As a result of the success during the job, it earned me the contract I am running in Africa presently (Congo Brazzaville to be precise). We (I and my team of workers) were asked to come and develop a piece of land which is believed to be an oil well measuring 12 sq km's.
We flew down on the 9th of January, 2007, to assume work on the said piece of land. After signing all necessary documents with the Congolese National Petroleum Company (CNPC) we discovered that the total expanse of land to be explored is far greater than what we bargained for, the actual measurement of the land having this natural resources is 30 sq km's.
We are almost running out of funds because we have long exceeded our stay here in Congo Brazzaville. Our hotel bills, transportation and miscellaneous expenses have been piling up pending when we are able to get funds. It's even impossible for us to travel back to Sweden.
Our plea, is that you help us cash a cheque that will be sent to you as soon as you indicate your interest. When the cheque is cashed you will send us 90% of the total sum via western union money transfer and retain 10% for your kind gesture. 

Please do this to assist a Swede in distress.
