John , In the absence of anything positve being promoted I would suggest we go ahead with showing some more of the PAGB images, John T. has the disc's. Until we have positive groups and an outing or two to take photographs there seems very little we can do. Mary and Dereks proposals are fine but I recall the opinion from the committee meeting was that we should concentrate our efforts on making images and not on the post manipulation of them which could be achived by attendence on FE courses. I am prepared to lead like mined folk interested in Natural History Photography on local tours. For the spring I'm prepared to lead a tour of Helmsley Walled Garden, great for Macro work, both flowers and insects as well as general garden photographs and limited Landscapes. I won’t be there in 2 weeks time but as previously stated I am happy to lead/organise a general outdoor photographic group for landscape and possibly wildlife stuff on a few trips e.g. to Hardcastle Crags, Brimham Rocks etc starting in December. I’m on holiday from today until 12th November so if anybody is interested please let me know and I’ll do something about it on my return. Just wondering what we're going to be discussing in just over a fortnight really! (If you reply to this message - the sig_yorkps@xxxxxxxxxxxxx address - all of the subscribers will see it btw) john..
