Somehow I don't think that would be it. The problem your friends are
describing sound more like your monitor is going bad, and not the video
card. Just an educated guess.

Hi All,
Recently, in fact today only, I started having a repeating "plug-in is not
running correctly" message. Before we touch possibilities of how to get
around that, I have a question:
Earlier I started having visibility problems with my screen, with sometimes
parts of it visible, other times some weird streaks (according to sighted
assistants). Could this be the cause of such things? If so, then perhaps I
should wait for a repair first.
Probably that subject was covered a fewtimes, but I can't sieem to find the
thread. Sorry.
