You've been stung by K1000 adding a new keystroke to the list of windows shortcuts. I have my own views on programs that do this but ... Go to: http://www.musicaccess.co.uk/sa/issues.htm And find the heading: Issue: Running the fix tool windows feature causes Kurzweil K1000 to start up. This should help you get the keypad keystroke back. The other thing to do is open the keyboard manager (JAWS+8) and check the keystrokes for the following scripts: OpenAndCloseKeypad OpenAndCloseMixer OpenAndCloseNavigator OpenAndCloseParts OpenAndClosePlayback OpenAndCloseProperties OpenAndCloseVideo If you need help with the keyboard manager, open the JAWS help system and in the contents list choose: Customise JAWS > Keyboard manager. Recently I purchassed K1000 and since then sib-access isn't working as well... I frequently get the message that the properties window can't be opened, or the keypad window can't be opened, or the playback window can't be opened. When I pressed the keystroke to open the keypad window, K1000 started. The other keystrokes don't work. I can go to the windows menu to open them, but they are all checked. Usually I just close them from the windows menu and then open them again, and after that optinize the tool windows. Just wondering if there is something I can do about this, or should I just keep doing what I'm doing. The scripts are still working, but it is a bit annoying to constantly have to fiddle with the windows all the time.
