Ugur, The problem with the F3 keystroke has already been spotted. It's nothing to worry about, it just means that there was no filtered text at the current position. The Alt+F5 keystroke was removed in this version, so it shouldn't do anything. You're probably getting this message because JAWS is trying to run a script that doesn't exist anymore. This shouldn't be happening if you replaced all the script files. It may be that you have an old JKM file which is making JAWS think that Alt+F5 is still a scripted keystroke. The Ctrl+F5 keystroke speaks the concert pitches of the notes. (Concert pitch is another term for sounding pitch.) If you're in a guitar staff or double bass staff then the pitches should be spoken an octave lower than the usual announcements, because the usual announcements speak the written pitches and not the concert pitches. Hope this helps, Dan Rugman visit the new on-line resource for visually impaired musicians and home of Sibelius Access. www.musicaccess.co.uk -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ugur Yuvarlak Sent: 27 March 2009 22:11 To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [sib-access] Re: preserving preferences Hello! Congratulations for making Sibelius even more accessible with the new release candidate. I strongly feel Dan has achieved to place a "milestone" in front of musiciens with visual impairment. I was delightful to see one of things that bothered me has been cured totally. Having such an appetite to test the release candidate, I want to report two things that I feel they are bugs. first: When I press f3 on a note or chord, I hear a message "The information you requested could not be found in the plugin. Try refreshing the plugin pressing f5." and f5 is asigned to describtion of notes of course. Second: When I press alt+f5 jaws gives an error message "unknown function call. list playbak properties..." And one last thing that I am wondering, when a chord or note is selected, is ctrl+f5 supposed to announce the notes one octave below? These have been first things that caught my attention, you are allowed to damn me not giving you a rest...
