Steph,

You would set your selection filter to only select the notes in voice x.
This is a choice in the Edit/Filter menu. So first select the entire staff
with the voice (melody) you want. Then use Edit/filter and arrow down until
you find Voice x only and hit enter. You can verify that you've selected
what you think by pressing f5 right after that. Then Ctrl-C to copy and then
escape.

Then navigate to the same starting point in your piano tremble staff and
press Ctrl-v.

As to Soprano/Alto on treble, and Tenor/Bass on Bass staves, that sounds
correct for the chorale staves. But I don't know if the piano player wants
it exactly the same? If so, then that's the way to do it.

Dave

How would this affect the lyrics? I wouldn't want _this on the treble too?
Is it normal to have soprano and alto on the treble, and tenor and bass on
the bass staff?

Thanks, looks like you'd saved me a lot of work!
