Nice suggestion. I'll have to look at that personalization feature. Do you
know where the configuration files for these changes are stored?

Subject: [sib-access] expression markingsand the word menu

Hi all,
in the Sibelius preferences, there is a menu called the word menu. There you
can assign any shortcuts you want to any word. This menu has nothing to do
with the menus and shortcuts menu and doesn't interfere in any way with it,
because all the shortcuts you create there only work when the appropriate
word menu is engaged.
If you take expression for example, this is where the shortcuts for the
different expression words are stored. All I did is replace the existing
shortcuts with the seven first upper row number keys to type expressions
from ppp to fff. I find it much more comfortable because you don't have to
use the control key anymore so you can keep a hand on your midi keyboard
without having to do acrobatic gestures, and all your expressions are on the
same key row.
Some of you might find it confusing, but I really like it this way.
Cheers,
JPR
