There you can assign any shortcuts you want to any word. This menu has nothing to do with the menus and shortcuts menu and doesn't interfere in any way with it, because all the shortcuts you create there only work when the appropriate word menu is engaged. If you take expression for example, this is where the shortcuts for the different expression words are stored. All I did is replace the existing shortcuts with the seven first upper row number keys to type expressions from ppp to fff. I find it much more comfortable because you don't have to use the control key anymore so you can keep a hand on your midi keyboard without having to do acrobatic gestures, and all your expressions are on the same key row. Some of you might find it confusing, but I really like it this way.
