Kevin,

Good catch - we'll investigate and see what can be done.

Best wishes.

Subject: [sib-access] You lose soundsets when you install Sib Access

Dan and all,
One thing that users need to know is that when you install Sibelius
Access according to the current scheme, having to overwrite the Sibelius
Software folder may cause the user to lose custom soundsets he or she may
have installed previously. I know this because I've lost a sound set for
Vienna Instruments Solo Strings which I would use for a string quartet or
other such application. So, that's something that either needs to change or
be documented.
Why exactly does one have to reinstall Sibelius from the zip file?
What would have happened if I had skipped that particular step, thus saving
my custom soundsets?
