Encouragement is my motivation, certainly not pressure. I think what he's
done is excellent, and frankly comparing it to what SibSpeaking cost from
DancingDots, he's entitled to consider it.
But yes, it's his decision and there may be factors driving his reasons that
none of us know about.
So I'll shut up saying so on the list, at least.

I don't think anyone should be "on him" about this. Let him make his own
decision. Either way works. No lobbying.
And I don't see why we couldn't and shouldn't contribute anything until a
fixed fee. If you have the means, do it; what's the hurdle? Pressure
tactics like that are horribly wrong,in my opinion.
Just my take on this. If I am alone, so be it.

I'm sure he's figuring out how to standardize that. Like you, I'm on him
about that. All of us want to contribute but can't/shouldn't until we know
that everyone pays the same fee.
