Here is a response I got from Dan, suggesting another way of fixing this
tool window's trap.  

"Try reinstalling the registry keys again.  This should put the keypad,
properties and playback windows back in place.  Just open the folder that
you extracted when you first downloaded the scripts and run the files
"Properties.reg" and "TransportWindow.reg". (The keypad window is dealt with
by the properties key.)"

Thanks Vytautas,

 but I have already did it like 20 times or so on. Actually it was no avail 
to be able to read a single note from the sample scores. by the
way I am using jaws 10 while he uses jaws 8. When the problem occurs on my
computer I do what you suggest and indeed it becomes normal. There it didn't
work somehow...
