[sib-access] Re: Scores with title pages and instrumentation lists - Also Metronome Marks?

Dan,

I also experience something that perhaps I could resolve with the verbosity
settings. When I arrow or Shift-Tab back to the very first note or rest in
the score, I always hear the metronome mark (if present in the score). Is
this also related to what Kevin hears with the title page?

Dave

Kevin,

Yes, I can see why that might happen. It should be easy to stop this.

Thanks for the feedback,

Dan,
I actually did it without too much problem in a brass fanfare I
submitted for a competition in Dallas. The only hassle is that when you go
to the first bar of the score, Sib-Access reads the text on the title and
instrumentation pages that precede the score. It's no real big deal.
K.

Kevin,

I'll need to play around with a score that has a title page before I can
give you a definitive answer to this. The problem with title pages is that
they represent a break in the music. You can insert a blank page at any
point in a score and sighted users can put things on those pages but I'm not
absolutely certain as to how these items are represented within the plug-ins
object model.

I'll keep you posted,

Dear Dan,
In the days of Sibelius Speaking the user was discouraged from using
scores with first title pages and instrumentation lists of the sort that are
expected in professional orchestral scores. How does one do that in
Sibelius Access? Kevin If you wish to unsubscribe, send a blank message with
