I found it, and I tried to apply the symbol, but it didn't appear. Usually
Sibelius would tell me if there was a symbol next to a note. Is there a way
to attach a symbol to a shortcut key? Or perhaps attach it to part of a word
menu, in this case, technique words?

I have, but I'm not sure which category of symbols these two would be under,
since there are about three or four categories of technique symbols.

Have you looked at the various symbols you can insert? I believe you can
find them in the Create menu?

For a wind instrument, or even a guitar, how would I make the "Scoop" and
"Fall" techniques? Like when you would slide up a few notes with a bend,
instead of hearing the chromatic tones in between. I've tried Glissando, and
I've tried Portamento, but it makes the notes sound really strange in the
end. What do I do?
