The keyboard shortcut for tempo text is actually alt+ctrl+t though.
Otherwise all sounds right. The metronome field is available through the
Create menu, Text menu, and the letter m.

Hello Annabel,
Please start using sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx as your sending address.
Otherwise there are many other members of the list who may not get to
see your question and our answers.

You can use tempo text (Ctrl-T) to start or change tempo, or metronome
marks.

To gradually speed up or slow down, then you would use symbol text
such as rit. or molto rit. or accel. others like that. I believe all
these are available in the Ctrl-T selection box. After you press Ctrl-T
you should be able to use the applications button on your keyboard to
open up this list of various tempo-related text.

    Hi, it's Annabelle.
When I would put in a metronome marking, is it the same as when you
would put in a tempo? Also, how would you do tempo changes? For example,
120, slowly scaling to 125, then 125 immediately changes to 90. Then 90
goes back to 120.
