This would be very useful for those of us who would like to learn more about
orchestration and arranging.

Best wishes.

The colour which JAWS speaks is the colour of the note that was set through
the colours dialog and has nothing to do with notes which are coloured
because they are out of range.

Would it help to have an announcement made if a note is out of range? I'd
suggest messages like
"out of comfortable range" and "out of professional range".

Obviously this would be a verbosity option.

Dan,
In colors submenu I checked the option for instruments out of range, but
pressing F5 always says black, even if i deliberately write an instrument
out of range. Is somewhere another important setting to make this
information work?
Thanks
Claudio
