I'm actually trying to edit the lyricist text, you know, the name of the
person who writes the lyrics?

Exactly what happens after you press Enter on the lyric? Does nothing
happen? Or does a dialog open with the following text.
The text you are about to edit contains some substituted text from the Score
Info dialog. You should edit this text in the Score Info dialog, not
directly in the score. Would you like to go to Score Info now?
