Brian,
It is possible to use the latest version of Sibelius, 8.5x, with NVDA.
However, it is true that the accessibility available with this combination is
not as good as 5.25 with JFW. Avid will eventually return to addressing
accessibility in Sibelius. But that’s on the back burner just now. Google
Sibelius accessibility and you will find an article that refers to Sibelius
7.51 and NVDA. Gordon Kent and I wrote this article. All the details are
still pertinent to Sibelius 8.5x.

Kevin

Hi folks,
I am seriously thinking about jumping back in the Sibelius pool with NVDA.
Was curious to see what setups people were using. With Sibelius, is it best
to use a midi controller with an audio interface to take advantage of the
Sibelius sounds, or is it best to use a keyboard with built-in sounds when
composing with Sibelius. Also, with the current NVDA scripts, does it work
with the latest version of Sibelius which I believe is Sibelius 8? Thanks
for the help,
